This weekend was supposed to be a youth camp. But due to unfavourable weather, we had to call it off!! And so camp migrated to a LOCK IN at the church.
I thought it was an excellent weekend...just being able to get together and talk share about things were going on in our lives. The theme of the weekend was Holiness, and so discussions were based on what it means for us in our lives to be holy. There was a lot of meaningful sharing, and I am sure everyone walked away with something they hadn't thought about before.
However, it wasn't all good..the morning call was probably one of the most offensive things I have heard in my life...alright that's a bit harsh..but it was quite rubbish....i am referring to the "reggae" version of Shine Jesus Shine. IT WAS AWFUL! In case you are not familiar with the song, its sort of like some one trying to sing fiddy cent in Opera...
Anyhow apart from that it was a good time for all involved..
I would like to take this chance to thank peeps for coming, sharing, leading, guitaring, hiding, finding, eating and baptizing..
