Ok, the last two blogs I have posted were not even my own words. And so, I feel that I need to make this one extra significant somehow. Don't hold your breath, it's not gonna be that good.
But what to write? About this time, my mind is usually filled with thoughts about Christmas, and so, this shall be the topic.
During the Christmas season, we, at school, use a copious amount of glitter. And so, usually, after work, I leave looking like I am on my way to a Boy George look-a-like contest. Glitter gets everywhere, and it just seems to stick, PLUS nothing, NOTHING!!! can wash it away. I am sure that if I jumped into a pool of Carbonic Acid (H2C03?), the glitter would still remain. It's ruddy annoying, and it makes me think that women who use gilttery makeup are some type of crazy...the kids love it though...so much that they think it's funny to open the container and throw it up into the air..then they start screaming....LOOK, LOOK!!! TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR!!....and now its in my eyes too....Christmas in the classroom is a whole other level of chaos.
Then there is ofcourse the age old dilemma of gifts. What to get for who?? Actually I am not even going to say anymore about this because, firstly I might give ideas away. Secondly I still really do not know, and the fact is that, people probably have this conversation everyday during the month of December...so there is already enough said....
Christmas songs/carols add just that little bit more magic to the whole season...
As a fan of rap music, I will now attempt to write a verse of a Christmas rap song...

Its Christmas time and we like to party
so come on everybody and lets get hearty
bring out the turkey, or you might perfer duck
the pudding will be ready soon with a little bit of luck
the presents under the tree look really swell

So nice try, but I think you should keep your teaching day job... though it was a good attempt at a little rap song there... I did enjoy it (lol)
So you should post pictures of you as Boy George. I think that would be hilarious as well =)
