Revisited

Little Jack Horner sat in the corner
Eating his Christmas pie
He stuck in his thumb and pulled out a plum
But then he started to cry

A passer-by walked back and said
"Litte Jack, why all the tears?"
to this, Jack Horner did reply
"I cry because I fear"

"You see this pie was big enough for two
But I decided to keep it for me.
And now I've stuck my thumb in it
I can share any with thee"

"So off you go dear stranger
please be on your way.
I'll have pie enough again for two
but I have ruined it for today"
