light!

there is no view like the Hong Kong skyline, I have mentioned this fact more than once. On the Peak tonight I was plesantly reminded of this fact, even though it was a bit hazy.

Lights are there for people too see, light cannot hide because light dominates. People do not put on lights just to cover them up, but when we turn/switch/ignite etc a light we usually want that light to shine as bright as possible!!

This is what people should be like. From a Christian prespective we are supposed to be the guiding lights in this world. A medium that Jesus can shine through. That is quite a challenge to me, as I sometimes feel there are so many 'layers' surronding me that Jesus barely resembles a glow.

But even from a non-religious perspective, being able to 'shine' is something that people want to be able to do in all areas of life. (does that sentance make sense???)

All people should be given a chance to shine just like the Hong Kong skyline. This world would be a much 'brighter' place...

p.s sorry for the EXTREMELY cliched 'rant' here..but again..just thoughts running through my head!

I didn't steal your idea, I wrote mine first. I actually stole that line from a song though, so I took it from someone, just not you.
Anyways, you actually stole my idea from me! You're a punk.
But hey, don't worry - a punk is better than a cowboy. :P
