observizzels of tha dizzel...

Here are a few things that I noticed today...

1) Apperently my hair is "wild and curly", at least that is what the bloke who cut my hair today told me. First of all, I quite often cut my own hair and so a comment from a 'hair professional' like that worried me a bit. He then proceeded to do a psycho-analysis of me, determined by the state of my hair. He said "Wow! Your hair is so curly and it grows without control, I bet that's what you are like eh"....anyway...Afterwards, I noticed that hair is actaully a very good insulator for your head!!

2) A LOT OF PEOPLE wear glasses in Hong Kong (myself included) and I reckon that a lot people also wear contacts. People here have bad eyesight...perhaps that's why the signs for shops and restraunts are so massive!

3) What the heck is up with the countless amount of 'slimmig' ads that are up everywhere!!?!?!..Ladies, do believe the hype. You are all beautiful!..plus if you love Jesus then you are a daughter of the King of kings and that makes you a princess. And fellas, stop staring at the billboards, watch where you are going and you might not trip over on the escalator!

4) People like to take shortcuts, in EVERYTHING!....I found out today, that during a recent survey targeted towards 8-15 year olds, when asked what they wanted to be in the future, the answer was simply "famous". They didnt even specify a particular industry, singer or actor for example. all they said was famous. I found this quite sad. I dont really wish to be famous so I might be biased, but its not about that really. These kids see famous people and they just want that. They don't realise that these people are famous for a reason. That they probably had to work hard (or do something extremely stupid) to get there!?!?!....

Thats all really...
Just random thoughts that run through my head as I went running this evening...

3) yea....the hype began like mid 2007? there were those slimming ads appearing early 2005 but the *real* hype began mid 2007...or late 2007...all over the MTR...augh.
